Why Consider a Career in Tech?
The tech industry offers stability, growth, and opportunity—and it needs professionals who can think on their feet, solve problems under pressure, and lead with integrity. That’s why military-connected talent is a perfect fit.
Our learners have gone on to roles in IT support, cybersecurity, network administration, and data analytics—bringing their discipline and determination with them.
Your Strengths Are an Advantage
Military-connected learners often:
- Are fluent in defense and government contracting language
- Bring firsthand knowledge of military workflows, procurement, and culture
- Understand the priorities of clients in defense, aerospace, and aviation sectors
- Hold or qualify for security clearances
- Adapt quickly to structure and technical environments
- Lead with purpose—and learn with grit
SkillBridge & Veteran Support
ActivateWork is proud to support Colorado’s military and veteran community as an approved partner with DOD SkillBridge and the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP).
Through the Department of Defense’s SkillBridge program, we offer active-duty service members the opportunity to train for high-demand tech roles during their final 180 days of service, while still receiving their full military pay and benefits.
The MSEP program enables us to help military spouses train for and find meaningful long-term employment in tech roles with a nationwide network of employers that understand and value the unique experience and skills that military spouses bring.
Whether you’re shifting from active duty, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a more flexible and portable career as a military spouse, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Our support includes:
- Industry-Driven Tech Training: Complete full-time technical training in high-demand tech fields like IT support, cybersecurity, software development, and data analytics. Our curriculum is shaped by real employer input and industry standards.
- SkillBridge Program Navigation: If you’re a transitioning service member, we’ll walk you through every step of the SkillBridge process—from confirming your eligibility to coordinating with your command.
