The Tech Talent Partnership (TTP) is an employer-led initiative launched by ActivateWork to bridge the gap between employers and the tech talent they need—specifically focusing on entry-level roles in cybersecurity. By aligning education and training programs with industry demands and employer needs, TTP aims to increase economic mobility for Coloradans and build a reliable pipeline of qualified cybersecurity talent for Colorado employers.
Why It Matters
Colorado’s tech sector is expanding rapidly, and cybersecurity has emerged as one of the state’s most critical and fast-growing fields—with over thousands of open roles across the state. However, the supply of qualified cybersecurity professionals has not kept pace, with Colorado having only 59 qualified cybersecurity professionals for every 100 job openings in the field. The Tech Talent Partnership (TTP) responds to this urgent demand by aligning employer needs with education and training efforts. By fostering deep collaboration between industry and education providers, TTP ensures that programs are tailored to high-priority entry-level roles, while expanding access and opportunity for local talent to succeed in the cybersecurity workforce.

Testimonial
Our greatest opportunity lies in aligning talent with purpose. When employers take the lead in building stronger cyber talent pipelines, they’re not just filling critical roles—they’re investing in a stronger workforce, driving innovation, safeguarding our state against growing cyber threats, and helping shape a more prosperous future for their industries and communities.”
